A beautiful tropical plant, the Calathea will lift the look of any room with its spectacular foliage. The 'Whitestar' variety has very light and green patterns on the tops of the leaves and a deep purple underside. Watch it's leaves open and close at dawn and dusk. This beauty is also a mighty air purifier so it'll clean up any nasties from your room too. Keep the soil moist but not overwatered and move away from direct sunlight, dappled light is best.
